• LoFi: grainy keys drifting through a hazy anime world. Soft, fluttering textures that land right in the pocket. Recorded on all analog equipment by the 44th Floor in California.
• Pedal Dust: guitar tones pushed through pedals until they blur. Diffused, distorted, and dusty tones paired with open, hazy chords.
• Notes Keys: fresh, go-to keys and synth staples for tomorrow. Created with the heavy-hitters we recorded at the Synthesizer Museum in Berlin.

• What is Notes? In a few words: the song starter. Play hundreds of chord progressions, find chords from any audio, switch them up, and finish the song in your DAW.
• Does Notes use AI? All the sounds and built in chord progressions are created by sound designers and musicians. Notes uses machine learning to find the chords in any audio you drop in, but it doesn’t generate music for you.
• How is Notes different from Scaler and other chord plugins? Notes is all about sparking new ideas and getting your next track started quickly. It’s less about music theory tools and more about making music. Each sound pack has its own identity, with curated sounds and chord progressions designed to work together. Just start playing, find something that catches your ear, and build from there.
• Can I use chords from songs I like? Notes lets you find the underlying chords in audio and use them as a starting point for your own ideas. Chord progressions themselves are generally treated differently from protected elements such as melodies, lyrics, and recordings. With Notes’ Transformers and other creative tools you can easily make any chords your own.
• Does Notes have MIDI Out? Yes. You can route MIDI from Notes to any synth in your DAW.
• Can I use my own sounds? Yes. Add your own samples, load SFZ and Decent Sampler instruments, and easily create your own MultiKeys instruments.
• Is there a demo or free trial? We don’t have a demo but we do have a 30 day hassle free return policy. If you get Notes and you don’t love it, just send us a message for a full refund.
• Which DAWs and plugin formats does Notes support? Notes is tested in FL Studio, Ableton Live, and Logic. It’s available in VST2, VST3, AU, and as a standalone app. AAX for Pro Tools is not currently supported.
• Will Notes work on my computer? Notes is compatible with macOS 11.7 or higher, and Windows 10 or higher.

• Start with a recipe, find the right chords for your track. The From Scratch page now suggests chord progressions in your session key. Pick a mood or genre, preview the chords, and keep the ones you want to work with.
• Full control over every chord, with the editor you already know how to use. The Chord Editor detects your DAW (Ableton Live and FL Studio) and gives you the same editing tools and shortcuts. No need to learn a new workflow; just dive right in and start editing.
• Use the sounds you already own. Use your Serum 2, S.K.Y. Keys, Decent Sampler and SFZ instruments inside Notes.
• Borrow grooves. Want the chords in one progression and the rhythm from another? Mix and match them inside the Chord Editor.
• Roll the dice, get endless variations. Roll the randomize dice to switch up FX, instruments, and chords.
