I got the SM PRO AUDIO V-Machine since 2 month. It's a nice piece of hardware running linux with a vst-windows-emulation on it. It is real fun to carry you favorite VST with you an use it with you masterkeybord. Of cause ther are strong limitations (RAM, CPU-Power, Softwareproblems,...) but some VST works fine on this little box. In most cases VSTi's works fine without any chances, some need some tweaking before you can import it. You got the possibility to emultate the windows registry with a special text-file. For needed files you can use symlinks, so the VSTi can find any sample-data, other DLLs or needed stuff.

Unfortunately I can't get circle running on the v-machine. I there anyone who got a v-machine, too. Or can somebody of the development team give me a hint which reg-keys and files are needed to run circle...?!?!

  2. Hi Breakbeat,

I was in contact with the guys at SM Pro when Circle was first released and sent them a version.
I'm not familiar with the system and how it works at the moment. I understand they are releasing an emulator that allows you
to test the plug-ins prior to installing on the system. Send me through a mail to support@futureaudioworkshop.com with what ever specific questions you have.

    Gavin.
