i just started the demo and instantly liked the concept of routing
one thing i found really annoying is the changing of the modulation amount
almost each time i click on an existing modulation it just removes it instead of givng me the amount control
only in a very cases i mange to come to the control i want
what i'm doing:
drag source to dest. - fine
single click on mod.circle - modulation goes :(

when you say single click, that is single click and release. The modulation slider should appear when you do this. Then move the slider to the desired amount.

I think that process could do with some streamlining, because I was having similar issues. Actually, it worked for me once I read the manual to see how to do it, because it was somewhat counterintuitive for me (as opposed to the rest of the UI design, great job guys!). It's just too easy to disconnect the modulation rather than edit it in its current state, IMHO.

This is good feedback. The modulation connection and amount is complex by its nature, as you need to be able to remove the connection completely, move it to another destination or set the amount while keeping the work flow suitable for touch screen ( no keyboard commands or right clicks). What we can do is make it eliminate the mistake of to removing the connection, when you want to set the connection amount.

You should also be able to re-drop the modulation at that same location, or elsewhere. So picking it up shouldn't automatically remove the connection. If you re-drop it at the same location, it stays, if you drag it off the location, it removes. If you put it to a new modulation connection, it establishes it there. I hope I explained that well enough.
