Yule Greetings from a Circle demo user *_*

QUESTION - How to disable/turn off the LFO & Envelope animations on the Circle GUI?
I figure these consume a certain amount of valuable CPU cycles.

SUGGESTION - To show the item active state, simply highlighting the graphic and/or with a light is sufficient.

Thanks,

I have to admit - "with the volume of purchase's it can take a few days". That's beyond me. Most of the developers have an instant delivery system. You're acting like you have thousands of purchases which you have to work on manually. I just doubt you really have that volume and even if you have it, its about YOU to take care of people not waiting for days imo. :)

Great product! I love Circle. Just work on the rest. :P

Hi, I had the same problem with macOS, solved after several emails. I must thank Mike for the quick answers, over a weekend.
here is what finally unlocked the thing:

(stay offline also when loading the file from the computer to the activation window)

Hi Marcos

1, make sure you are logged in as "Admin" on your computer.
2, repair disk permissions go to, Applications/ Utilities/ Disk Utility
run a permission repair on your mac os drive.
3, to activate offline run circle in stand alone mode
4, temporarily disable your internet either by turning off your wifi or unplugging the network cable when taking note of the green offline activation code on your mac.

Best regards,
Mike,

We have all seen quite a drop in the price of music software over the last few years, I myself was one of the user's that bought Logic 7 Pro for €1000.00 only to have them update it 4 months later to 8 for €500 and thats only one example in many.
We believe in circle as a product for the long term and endeavour to provide a better quality of support.

Here is the current the bug fix log.

Fixed Bugs:
1) "eventquantizefloat" being produced ( Win & OSX )
2) VST plug-in on the mac not showing up in Ableton. ( OSX )
3) Audio Unit version notes not triggering when midi is send in. ( OSX )
4) Previous Beta 5 installer was not correctly overwriting existing Circle plug-in files. ( OSX )
5) Fixed the issue with the RTAS plug-in not showing as an instrument in Protools. It was being scanned correctly.
Outstanding Issue:
1) OSX 10.7 support, for the moment there is a work around for Circle to be seen by Logic 9 64 bit. ( OSX )

New version is out and no communication at all. Price is down, very nice to see, so all the people payed 160 or above can feel happy now after 2 or more Years without any update/bugfixing info. Now seeing their nobel synth in a lolish price dump situation. That a new update lowers the price to only a third of the regular price. Thought more time investment and bugfixes/upgrades would keep the price constant. But such a lowering. I really don't think that buying circle was an investment anymore. It tastes like a joke. The standalone version (1.0.8) still has the midi problem and is still horrible cpu hungry. So, what did i pay for, and what are new customers paying for ? More communication in future times ? Better bugfixing ? Less of it all cause they only payed a third of the price ?
Maybe i get myself an IDevice seems like the support of IOS Apps is much greater.

Good point. and when you think about it, may save on cpu if they can swap out the sequencer
I don't know about you but for me a few presets and the ability to tempo loop, back and forth and the other bells and whistles. I certainly would feel happy to work in this manner, seeing as I do this with 70% of my other vsti's in my daw.

I think this could be awesome:

I'd love to have the ability to tempo sync each phase of an envelope to the host tempo. For example, let's say I'm creating a filter sweep rise and I want it to last two bars, instead of guessing how long the attack should be and tweeking it until it feels good, I could simply tell Circle to make the envelope last for two bars. I hit my MIDI note on beat one of bar one and it syncs perfectly. I think I would want the ability to sync from 1/256th note or somewhere in that range all the way up to 8 or more bars. I would want the ability to tempo sync the decay, the sustain and the release as well, all independent of each other.

This would be an amazing feature, and I would LOVE to see this in a future update to Circle.

Thanks,

I tend to work from one patch to the next anyway.

Pad > another Pad, Lead > another Lead or base.

It'so easy to make a patch on Circle, the trouble is if you start adding features you take away from it's basic simplicity that makes it a joy to work with.

For me I like the idea of something like an effect addition, A Grain Delay or Resonant Delay would be fairly simple to make. (with Circles easy modulations, I can see some nice potential).

But everyone has there needs.

Just have a feat. request, I know it's a long shot but I think it would make Circle even that much better. And I haven't seen any other Synths with this feature.

Feat. Request:

The ability to export to a text file, the setttings for ever parameter in a patch. Broken down into sections:

So if I had a preset loaded, it would export like this:

Oscillator 1: 3.4
Oscillator 2: 2.4

With the ability to export either, every setting, or every setting that has been tweaked from the default setting.

Would be amazing.
